ULE is inspired by Spencer Matthews's Apex Athlete Challenge. Watching Matthews describe it, got me wondering....the tiny amount of worldwide "apex" hybrid athletes have a goal / benchmark. What can the rest of us hybrid athletes use?
If you want to test strength, there are clear standards. If you want to test running (or other aerobic disciplines), same thing. But hybrid fitness? Very little exists.
That’s why I built ULE - a simple, honest benchmark for hybrid athletes, at any level. Something that tells you where you stand and what to aim for. Not just for the elite. For anyone who trains across strength and aerobic capacity, and wants a straight answer.
I hope it contributes something positive and useful to the hybrid fitness community.
